Petco Mega Adoption Event 12/14/13

This past weekend, the San Diego team headed to Chula Vista to hang out with our friends, Petco, The Greyhound Adoption Center, The San Diego Spaniel Rescue, Stop Save the Orphaned and Parrot Education. This was a great event to meet some people in the area as well as hang out for a great cause.

About Greyhound Adoption Center

The Greyhound Adoption Center (GAC) is a California-based 501(c) 3 non-profit organization that rescues, rehabilitates and places greyhounds in loving homes in California.

Join the Greyhound Adoption Center in saving and changing the lives of greyhounds in need.

Everyday, Greyhound Adoption Center volunteers – caring people like you – give their all to change the future from bleak to bright for greyhounds that desperately need our services. Your support allows us to:
  • actively save greyhounds from racetracks and shelters
  • nurture them at our rescue center or in foster homes
  • match them to permanent, loving homes
  • offer pre- and post-adoption support, and
  • provide humane education.

There are many ways you can help. Explore our website to learn more about greyhounds and how you can become a GAC member, adopter, donor, sponsor or volunteer. Together, we can make a difference, one greyhound at a time.

History of San Diego Spaniel Rescue:
San Diego Spaniel Rescue began in 2002. Fast forward to now, SDSR has a governing Board of Directors, a strong volunteer network, and has helped more than 500 dogs to better lives. We are a respected member of the local rescue community and have expanded to help the Cocker Spaniels of Orange County as well. We are a registered California non-profit and an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) (this means your donations are tax deductible!). Our hope is to continue for many years down the road in support of the needy Cocker Spaniels in our community.
